who's that girl?

A milestone was reached in January 04 - we had our first ‘stranger in a paua tee’ encounter. We finally saw someone we didn't know wearing a paua tee walking down the street in Wellington.

After stalking the woman down the street (Not as easy as it sounds, she was a very fast walker!) we caught up with her and stared at her chest to indeed, confirm, that she was a proud wearer of a paua T. Luckily she didn’t call the cops. (if the recipient of the stare is reading this - sorry!)

christmas press

pc had its first print publicity in December 03, with this photo and mention in the Magazine section of the Dominion Post – keeping very good company with Huffer, Kate Sylvester, Starfish and Native NZ tees.

Mary Potter Hospice also kindly included a mention of pc tees in their newsletter in Dec 03.

aragorn loves paua tees

well, not quite. But the paua tees managed to get themselves on the Red Carpet at that fantastic event that was The Return of the King premiere in Wellington, and up on the biggest The Lord of the Rings fan website in the world - www.theonering.net - take a look for the lady in blue on www.theonering.net/scrapbook/group/1190. This was taken by a random person that I have never met - which is kind of scary. Bit of a surprise to pc - and to the person who took the pic I am sure, when they figured out that I was not a celebrity of any shape or form. As for the Roharrian in the pic - he was wandering along the red carpet, and as Viggo Mortensen was nowhere in sight, he just had to do.
